What We Do To Protect Your Information

  • Self-identification – Whether you are contacting us by phone or email, we will ask you to identify yourself to ensure that your information is discussed with only you (or your authorized agents).
  • Username and password – We require you to select a unique username and a password that contains a variety of characters to access your account through our website and mobile app. This information is encrypted during transmission and in our database.
  • Secure website and mobile app – Our website and mobile app use 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secured transmissions online.
  • Automatic time-out for inactivity – We automatically log you out of our system after 20 minutes of inactivity to protect your account.
  • Firewalls – We employ state of the art firewalls and a secure network architecture to protect our environment and your data.
  • Data encryption – We encrypt your data in transit and at rest, using strong, industry-standard encryption algorithms.
  • Single sign-on security – If our single sign-on feature is enabled by your program sponsor, our technology ensures that your account is accessible and secure as you transfer from one system to another.
  • SSLv3 certificates – These certificates are the industry standard and help keep your transactions secure with strong encryption.
  • Application security – Our platform is built with the latest technology to ensure your data is always protected.
  • HIPAA compliance – We guard your Protected Health Information (PHI), as required by the Security and Privacy Rules and HITECH amendment of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and follow the best practices of our industry.
  • PCI compliance – We adhere to the Data Security Standards set by the payment card industry and required of all organizations that accept debit and credit card transactions from the five major credit card companies. These high standards help to keep your debit card data secure.
  • SSAE 16 compliance – We are audited annually for compliance to SSAE 16 (and previously SAS 70) to ensure relevant controls are in place.
  • End-point protection – We run the latest versions of anti-virus and endpoint protection software.
